Decarbonizing Commercial Buildings

The Town of Andover, Andover Green Advisory Board and Andover WECAN present a panel on the Specialized Opt-In Energy Code focused on decarbonizing commercial buildings.

Please join us for the first information session on the Specialized Opt-in Code in Andover featuring:

Paul Ormond from the Department of Energy Resources (DOER) who helped develop the code,
Martine Dion who is with SMMA, the architect for West Elementary School
Bill Footer from PSD Consulting who provides training for inspectional services
Joyce Losick-Yang, Andover Director of Sustainability and Energy.

This panel will clarify the impacts of adopting Specialized Opt-in Code in Andover as it relates to commercial buildings. The panelists will share insights through presentations and answer your questions so you can gain clarity on the Specialized Code requirements above and beyond the Stretch Code currently in place.

This is an online forum.

We welcome your organization’s question in advance of the panel. Please submit questions you have on the specialized building code by January 21 to Joyce.LosickYang@andoverma.us.
