What You Need to Know about PFAS

Connie Glore of North Parish Climate Justice shared this PFAS update and what you can do to reduce their use.

PFAS Forever Chemicals are now pervasive throughout the world and have been determined to be unsafe at any level. EPA Administrator Michael Regan, “characterized PFAS contamination as one of the most pressing environmental and public health concerns in the modern world.”

All artificial turf contains PFAS. Boards of Health and Town Managers are responsible to the people they serve to prohibit artificial turf in schoolyards and playing fields.
