Youth Sustainability Fair

Andover WECAN will be hosting the town’s first ever Youth Sustainability Fair. This youth-based and youth-led event will take place on Saturday, April 27th from 1-3pm at Andover’s Cormier Youth Center.

The goal of the Youth Sustainability Fair is to increase youth engagement in local climate education and highlight youth-led work that is being done, all while promoting community building around environmentalism.

The fair will feature the work of middle and high school students alongside the work of local community organizations such as Pollinator Pathways, ReVision Energy, and Soto Cycles. With a plethora of insightful presentations, sustainable activities, an art showcase, and more, ultimately, the Youth Sustainability Fair will provide an opportunity for community building around climate action.

One exciting addition to our fair will be the Youth Art Showcase! This provides an opportunity for youth members of Massachusetts to submit their environment-based art to be featured in our fair as well as on display within Andover. Leading up to the fair, all art entries will be displayed in the Downtown CVS Community Window for all to enjoy, and will then be transported to the Youth Center for the day of the Youth Sustainability Fair. Please fill out this form to enter your artwork!

This is a community event and all are welcome. We hope to see you there!
